2009 Japan Mazda Motor Corporation (HIROSHIMA) announced that it has built the first Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE vehicle with Norwegian specifications, developed specifically for participation in HyNor, Norway’s national hydrogen project. The first unit will take part in ceremonies marking the official opening of HyNor’s hydrogen filling stations.

The initial opening ceremony will be held in Oslo on May 11, 2009. The RX-8 Hydrogen RE will then undergo certification to meet local standards and will be used for maintenance staff training. Mazda plans to commence leasing of Norwegian specification RX-8 Hydrogen RE models in Norway in summer 2009.

Unlike the RX-8 Hydrogen RE currently being leased in Japan, the HyNor-specification Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE is based on the latest European-specification Mazda RX-8 with left-hand drive and a manual transmission.

The HyNor project aims to enable hydrogen vehicles to travel along a 580-kilometer stretch of highway by establishing a chain of hydrogen stations between Stavanger and Oslo in Norway.

Mazda agreed to collaborate with HyNor on the project in November 2007 and began validation of the RX-8 Hydrogen RE’s driving performance on Norwegian public roads in October 2008.

Special Bugatti Veyrons 2010

Bugatti Veyron special edition

Watch out MX-5 and Elise - the Bugatti Veyron is well on its way to becoming the most special editioned car yet. After the Pur Sang, Sang Bleu, Centenaire et al comes this rather shiny and expensive trio.

First up is the Nocturne (main pic). It’s based on the Veyron coupe, with a combination of polished aluminium and a black finish on the outside, and an extravagant interior that boasts a nanocoated magnesium dashboard and galvanised platinum centre console. Obviously.

Five Veyron Nocturnes will be made, and they’re all bound for the Middle East, although its 1.65million euro (£1.5m) pricetag is probably more of a stumbling block than the geography of its sales plan.

It's on display at the Dubai motor show alongside two even more limited edition Veyrons. There’s the Sang d’Argent coupe – silver paint and aluminium outside, quilted and personalised seats inside – and the Soleil de Nuit Grand Sport cabrio, which mixes blue/black paint with mirrored finishes on the exterior and has a contrasting burnt orange interior.

Both are one-offs (although that’s perhaps for the best), priced at around 1.5million euros each (£1.35m). As usual, the changes are cosmetic meaning the Veyron’s ‘regular’ 16-cylinder 8-litre engine remains untouched. With 1000bhp on tap and a 253mph top speed, that’s probably no bad thing…

BMW M1 Concept at Villa d'Este 2010

BMW M1 Concept

This year's Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este has its public day tomorrow, which is when the world will presumably get its first look at the new BMW M1 concept, a stunning, modern take on Munich's original supercar that is part of Bimmer's 30th anniversary celebration of the classic machine. The private exhibition took place today, however, and the guys at Asphalte.ch -- they were the first with live shots of the Lamborghini LP560-4 earlier this year -- have once again scored a coup, snapping the new, copper-colored M1 concept in all its glory, both alone and alongside its forebears. We expect to have a lot more on this car tomorrow (assuming a press kit will be released sometime overnight), but for now, head to Asphalte.ch to see more shots of the car under the lights. Hey BMW, just pull the trigger and greenlight a production version already, because this thing is awesome.

MCLAREN P11 Auto Car

To not see muted tones excited and it was forced to neglect the artistic judgments and these details is produced by Auto Express and show the probable final appearance of the future MCLAREN P11. This is an eight-cylinder model designed and developed to oppose an overwhelming resistance to supercharged Porsche 911. Compare to whom you can count on a mass much lower thanks to the compact size and the widespread use of noble materials, this baby does not weigh more than 1300 pounds.

An exceptional value in particular if accompanies with 450 horses provide by the V8 6.2, an index of weight and control ratio of just 2.88 kilos per horse - 2.72 the 911 GT2. Faced with these specifications, the aesthetic flatness may be underestimating? This is the British wonderful car and that is got Porsche 911 is very cool and this striking machine is an latest conceptual entry-level baby auto car from formula One racing team MCLAREN and it will get corporation into uncharted country, rivaling recognized brand and I love this auto car product because that is very luxury and representing more advance future from another auto car, actually this auto car is much reliable from another auto car.
